For this package design I thought it would be interesting to shoot Rob Halfords' costumes in macro to create surreal background imagery that is indicative of heavy metal.  It was a simple idea but I had never seen it done before.  After all, Rob is credited with introducing leather, studs and spikes to the heavy metal genre so why not celebrate that.  I acquired his Rock In Rio costumes and anything else we had in storage from that tour at Metal God Ent. and set it up as multiple tabletops in my studio for a photo shoot.  I was pleased with the result as some of the shots actually looked like giant landscapes of studs and spikes.
