Some of my first freeelance gigs as an illustrator were for comic publishers.  I broke in with Fleetway Comics and shortly after I began working for Topps and Marvel Comics.  Back then I was working tradionally with a brush and trying to find a style I was comfortable with.  I was also doing comic book covers and trading cards for other comic book publishers as well.  This is a small sample of some of this work.  NOTE - I still have many of these pieces and sell them from time to time to collectors.  Contact me if you are interested in purchasing original art or seeking to commision an original piece.
