Warner Brothers/Rhino Records and Wendy Dio contacted me to design and paint the cover for this Dio box set that was to include the first six albums from the bands first ten years.  I knew I wanted to use the classic Dio demonic mascot and I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate the characters that populated the six iconic releases.  I grew up listening to these albums and they mean a lot to me so I wanted to do something that would pay homage to them.
